About Us
My partner (Jackie Gormley) and I have clicked in this business since day one. First year, Millionaire's club, Second year, President's club, this year....onward and upward. We have verifiable references of highly satisfied commercial and residential clients. I have been associated with Town & Country Realtors for nearly 3 years. In that time, I have moved to the top ranks of producers by joining forces with Jacqueline Gormley. We have combined our areas of expertise into a full service team to match any realty need. But I am very fortunate with this being my 3rd career.
Professional Experience
Prior to becoming a realtor, I was an insurance company executive for several years, specializing in Commercial General Liability cases. One of my principal duties was to negotiate settlements in a hostile environment. I became a very skilled and successful negotiator. I was a successful restaurateur for over 20 years, operating restaurants for myself and others. The experience garnered from this experience in invaluable in dealing in the stream of commerce. It was here that I refined and honed my interpersonal and business skills. As a Realtor, I hold an Associate Broker's License. Soon, I will finish training, and acquire a full broker's license.
Professional Education and Designations
I hold multiple degrees in English and Education. I attended U-Maine, Machias, and have degrees from U-Maryland, and Tulane. I hold these professional designations: ARM, AIC, CEC.
Personal / Comments
As a former chef, I continue to enjoy pretty much everything about food preparation and menu development. I have a knack for diagnosing kitchen problems and making suggestions to correct or modify them. I can help you with kitchen design. We dine out often at a variety of restaurants with varying styles and cuisines. We also enjoy growing some of our own staples, as well as enjoying extensive formal gardens at home. We enjoy Maine, and go “Down East” often to hike and dine. I am an amateur furniture maker, and have made many of items in our home. We love Maine. I was raised here, and am happy to finally be home and part of a prosperous and growing community.
